Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Compta Pocket mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms in full.

1. Service description

Compta Pocket is a bookkeeping and accounting assistant for self-employed professionals and small businesses. It offers transaction tracking, AI-assisted analysis, invoicing, quotes, receipt scanning, tax reminders, and financial reports.

2. Account registration

• You must be at least 17 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Free and Pro plans

Compta Pocket offers a free plan with limited features and a Pro subscription with full functionality.

4. Compta Pocket Pro — auto-renewing subscription

• Title: Compta Pocket Pro
• Length: 1 month (auto-renewing monthly subscription)
• Price: EUR 9.99 / month (price may vary by region)
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple Support to request a refund.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the app's operation
• Upload content that infringes on third-party rights
• Use the app to spam, defraud, or harm others
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without authorization

6. Intellectual property

The Compta Pocket app, including its design, source code, branding, and content, is the property of SEOVA OU and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you input into the app. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate the service.

7. AI features

The AI assistant uses third-party providers (currently Anthropic Claude). AI output is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always verify important decisions with a qualified professional.

8. Account termination and deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > "Delete my account". Deletion is irreversible and permanently erases all of your data on our servers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Liability

Compta Pocket is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your bookkeeping records and tax filings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be notified within the app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
