This Privacy Policy describes how Compta Pocket (the "app") collects, uses, and protects your personal data. By using the app, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Data we collect

Compta Pocket collects the following data:

• Email address (used for authentication)
• Full name (used to personalize your profile)
• Financial transactions (income and expenses you record)
• Invoices and quotes (created within the app)
• Receipt photos (uploaded for the receipt scanner)
• Client information (records you create about your customers)
• Preferences (theme, language, country settings)

2. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide bookkeeping and accounting features
• Generate financial reports and statements
• Power AI-assisted analysis (via Anthropic Claude API)
• Manage invoices and quotes
• Send you tax deadline reminders you have configured

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Storage and security

• Data is stored on Supabase cloud infrastructure (EU region)
• All communications are encrypted via HTTPS / TLS
• Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth (industry-standard)
• Passwords are securely hashed; we never store them in plain text
• Optional biometric lock is available on supported devices

4. Third-party services

The app relies on the following service providers:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI assistant features
• RevenueCat — subscription management on iOS
• Apple App Store — payment processing for subscriptions
• Sentry — crash reporting (anonymized)

Each provider has its own privacy policy that may apply to the data processed on their platform.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly from the app: Settings > "Delete my account" (red button at the bottom). Deletion is irreversible and permanently removes all of your data from our servers: transactions, invoices, quotes, clients, companies, reminders, receipts, profile information, and your authentication record. The deletion is processed by a dedicated server-side edge function and is final.

7. Children

Compta Pocket is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be notified within the app.
